murdered by John Nicholson and his son Samuel Nicholson at Flat River in

Macdonald 1793-1871, who came to PEI Aug 5 1830. (she was 14 years older
than husband) She was sister to Isabella Macdonald who married Malcolm
Lamont and emigrated to Lyndale PEI in 1829 on the Mary Kennedy. Malcolm
and Isabella brought with them their children, and Isabella’s sister Fanny,
and Malcolm’s nephew Murdoch Lamont. Children of Ewen Ross and Fanny Macdonald;

was d/o Donald Macleod and Mary Macdonald of Victoria Cross PEI. Rev. J.
H. Bishop states that Donald was a son of Murdoch Macleod and Jane Auld
of Mermaid PEI. Christina was twin sister of James Macleod b. 1851 died
1948.With children;
D1.Angus Lamont died June 15 1896 in Victoria Cross PeI.
D2.Silas Lamont a contruction supervisor, he was a veteran of WW1, and
died in Edmonton Alberta unmarried.
D3.James Lamont, owner of Poole Construction Co., Regina. He married late
in life, no children.
D4.Elizabeth Lamont died in her 20’s, buried Orwell Head PEI.
D5.Mary Lamont b. 1890 died 1976, she worked for a bank in Ch’town, was
twin to William R., buried in
Montague Community Cemetery PEI.
D6.William R. Lamont b. 1890, died 1952, twin to Mary, he was a farmer
and was never married, buried in
Montague Community Cemetery, PEI.
