The Family and Descendants of Donald Macqueen of Skye and Belfast,
Orwell North, Prince Edward Island.
Donald Macqueen born Skye in the late 1700's, died
sometime after November 5 1811, emigrated with the Selkirk settlers in
1803 on board the Polly. He settled in the Belfast district of Prince Edward
Island. After living for a few years near Macaulay's wharf, Donald died,
and was buried in the old French Cemetery at Belfast PEI. Among other members
of this family, two brothers, John and Angus, remained in Skye.
He married circa 1800, Christina Macleod born
circa 1780 on Skye, died circa 1864 PEI over 80 years old, buried in the
Belfast Cemetery PEI. She was daughter of Malcolm Macleod of the Glaspheins
and Euphemia Macdonald. with children;
A.CHRISTINA MACQUEEN b. c1802 Skye married her cousin JOHN MACLEOD of
the Glashvin Macleods. They had children among others;

4.Christina Macqueen born Orwell july 17 1839 died
june 16 1913 married her cousin Malcolm Dockerty of Cardigan, s/o Angus
