John Lamont and Miss Unknown

John Lamont and Miss Unknown (Bowie?)
John Lamont would have been born in the late 1600's
or very early 1700's, if son Murdoch Buie was born circa 1725. John was
noted to be living in Valtos on the East side of Skye in 1733 as well.
We know nothing more of John, except that he had a son named Murdoch Buie
Lamont, pointing to the probability that his wife's maiden name was Buie,
modern spelling Bowie.
John's father was named Duncan Lamont, and Duncan
was son of Donald, son of Murdoch, son of Duncan, son of Kenneth.
Of these men we know nothing, until we come to the
name Kenneth
Lamont.
