Malcolm Lamont was born July 25 1848, son of Ewen Lamont and Sarah Macpherson. According to the PEI census, he was a coach maker of Dundee. He died Dec 4 1928 in Dundee PEI age 80 years, married March 1 1879, Jessie Gillis d/o William Gillis and Christina Macleod of the Kendrom Macleods. William was s/o John Gillis and Catherine Nicholson emigrants from Skye in 1803, and Christina was d/o Roderick Macleod of the Kendroms and Miss Mackenzie, also 1803 emigrants). Jessie died July 7 1938 age 88 years.
