The Family and Descendants
           of
Alexander MacIntosh and Frances Lamont of Stencholl PEI.

    Alexander MacIntosh of Stencholl PEI, in 1871,  married Frances Lamont born c1845, daughter of Ewen Lamont and Sarah Macpherson of Lyndale PEI. They or their descendants moved to Churchhill  Alberta and farmed at Meadowview near Barrhead Alberta.
    A family member relates a cute story which concerns Frances Lamont - Frances was soming out of the dressmaker's shop (she had just been there to order her wedding dress) and she passed another woman just coming in. The dressmaker spoke to this woman and said (nodding her head towards Frances) "I've just sold a wedding dress to the prettiest girl on Prince Edward Island"

A. Donald MacIntosh of Stencholl PEI married his cousin Sarah Hume called Sadie. She was daughter of John Samuel Hume and Mary Elizabeth Lamont. With children;
